Little Children . . . of God

"Little children, you are of God and have defeated and overcome them, because He who lives in you is greater than he who is in the world." ~ 1 John 4:4

Praise the Lord that God is greater; greater than any of our problems, and that He has already overcome them!  Please pray that our Agape Angels come to understand this and turn to Him, trusting that He will lead them and guide them along the path that He has planned for them.

Pray for the girls in the Teen Home, as they finish up 3 weeks in a new living environment, that they are willing to let go of the old ways in order to make a difference in their lives, for the better.

Pray for all of the girls that each and every day that they come to school they make the most of each opportunity presented to them, whether it be in their academic subjects, counseling, choir, art, gym, or any of the other outlets they are exposed to as they stretch their wings, seeking what God has planned for their futures.

Pray also for the families of these girls, that they are eager to learn new ways for their family to function, through counseling and parent group, and that they also do their home work in these programs so that they also can find what God has planned for their families.

Praise God for one of our students, Dani, who worked at her studies over the Summer, and finished up her high school credits this week - she now has a High School Diploma!

Praise God for the rain we've had this past week, and the joy of seeing some of the girls go outside to play in the rain, like little children!

Praise God, and thank you to all of you who heard God's call, for all of the needs that you have met on our wish, need list the past few weeks: cheese and butter (lots); pork for many meals; computer speakers; office supplies; donations toward an upcoming school field trip; meals donated for the school lunches, as well as additional food items for other meals in the Home; donations of art supplies; donation of CD players for the girls in the dorms; donations to help meet the expenses of this ministry; and volunteers who help to round out the program.  One of our needs has been someone to help us with our marketing program, and we now have a couple of volunteers helping us out in this area - God is so good!

Wish List: Do you have a leaf blower stored in your garage that you're not using anymore? We could really use one for the TLH, as there are lots of trees there, and it will make clean up that much easier this Fall.

FREE to a good home: We have an extra upright piano in the gym that is looking for a new home - call 262-275-6466 if you are interested.

May you find joy in each and every day in spite of the trials along the way."You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore." ~ Psalm 16:11

Peace and Blessings . . .

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”  Isaiah 61:10
